Originating from Buddhist meditation practices, mindfulness is the practice of paying attention actively and non-judgmentally in the present. The research behind mindfulness supports its benefits in reducing anxiety, stress, and emotional reactivity, while strengthening executive functions, including memory, concentration, cognitive flexibility and decision making.
Using my training in mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) and mindfulness-based cognitive therapies (MBCT), I offer individual and group sessions aimed at incorporating mindfulness into daily life. Past seminars and workshops include:
